Retreat

The way the mountains lying down
green nothing but.......everywhere
Wake up soon and wear your gown
Reach the summit I swear

You guys holding pine and cedar
Youth and strength altogether
Resistance never resists the weather
Typically..... as a human ladder

Where I am sitting
the sun ready to wrap
I assume it is around...
above twenty feet up

Falling down and changing color
To save the green and make it free
By the end of the day like a fortune teller
I witnessed this event through a grown up tree

Vj Yogesh A great description... Your words invite the readers to summit through out the imagination.

Lakshmi Chitoor Subramaniam Good description. Still not a poem I am afraid. This is because suddenly at places things descend into ordinariness. This is my view. Others may think differently.

    Gobinath Na தமிழில் அகவல் கவிதைகள் போல ஆங்கிலத்தில் ஓசை நயத்துடன் வரும் ராப் வகையான பாடல் வரிகள் போன்று அமைகின்றது கவிதை.
Resistance never resists the weather நல்லா இருக்கு.

    என்ற பாடல் ஒரு இலகுவான வார்த்தைகளின் கோர்வையாகவும் அழகாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

Anand Prasad Thank you everyone for commenting.......Would like to comment on top of the layer......a good, bad and exclamative interpretation differs from the reader's perspective. Through these lines or poetry, whatever, I would like to portray my own struggle battling with my home land. It may sound like a rap or a crap...all depends on how you trap! Isn't this unfortunate that a writer happens to translate and demonstrate his works? Honestly convey your comments, don't be afraid what others would think.
